People ask me all the time what I use for fuel when training and racing. I always start with a base of Strate Superfuel in my bottles, but there are times when you just want to chew on something or add some variety on your ride.
In training, I'm free to pull off the side of the road for real food. I've experimented with all kinds of foods over they years and tend to try and eat real food versus a bar that is full of processed ingredients and PUFAs.

Today I wanted to share my go-to recipe for the last month. My wife Chris came up with this recipe and made it super clean to keep inflammation down and energy UP.
RACE BROWNIES!
Who doesn't love a good brownie? Throw these in a ziplock baggie and take 5 or 6 on your next training ride.
INGREDIENTS
NOTES
Melt butter
Add butter to sugar and stir until butter cools
Add egg yolks and stir
Add remaining ingredients
In an 8"x8" pan, bake at 325 degrees for 30-40 minutes
Cut into rows of 5 when cool
